Job Description Production Director
Our long-time, dedicated and creative Production Director is retiring. We are Combined Communications, Inc. (“CCI”) a major Radio Broadcaster, and we're looking for a talented, Full-Time Production Director to join our Bend, Oregon team. CCI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
The Production Director must be highly organized and able to work independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment across five local radio station formats.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Writing copy for :15, :30 & :60 second broadcast commercials.
Working directly with sales, scheduling, and programming teams.
Delegating voice-recording to staff, and voicing tracks personally.
Directing advertisers while in-studio.
Editing commercials, enhancing quality of voice-tracks, adding sound effects, researching music from our licensed production library, mixing commercials and delivering to sales-team for advertiser approval prior to broadcast.
Processing produced commercials received from outside sources for broadcast, while monitoring overall sound and content quality.
Maintaining broadcast commercial archive in Wide Orbit Automation System.
Familiarity with the following Software is desired, but not mandatory:
Word, Adobe Audition 3.0, Sharepoint Database Server, Chrome, iE8, Excel, Acrobat Reader, Lynx Mixer, FileZilla, DropBox, FTP sites, online download sites, VLC Media Player, Windows Media Player, WinZip and various file converting apps.
Previous audio-editing and production experience is mandatory for this position. Having an aptitude for troubleshooting minor hardware and software problems is highly desirable. Successful candidate will work closely with our current Production Director to get up to speed, prior to his retirement.
