Remember as days get colder animals are attracted to the warmth of cars so check wheel arches or other hiding places...you know how cats and cows love your car...lol!! Crazy!

Hi Friends! Callie here.
I was sick yesterday and missed out on being on the air. Instead of sharing the mid-day with you, I was quarantined in my bed, living on 7-Up and Saltine crackers and sweating out my fever.
The only good news: I think I lost a couple of pounds and now I fit back into my skinny Miss Me jeans!
There is always a silver lining!
Happy to be back on The Bull –

He will be in the studio the first week of December and I can't wait to sit across from Dave each morning here on 997! Dave has been in Wyoming for almost 10 years and he's ready for a more "normal" winter here in Central Oregon. Join me in making him feel welcome :)
My boyfriend told me last night that I am his best friend. What is a girl to do but say it back...ah babe you're my best friend too. Now I must say I had to look over my shoulder to see if my dog was in the room because for the past 7 years he has been my best friend. It's true but now Tim is my human best friend but I also have a best girlfriend too...ahhh, it' was so simple when it was just Warley and me. Now read this story about an unusual best friend...
MAN CALLS PET BISON "BEST FRIEND"
It's an 18 hundred-pound bison and it may seem like an odd choice for a pet, but this guy says his bison is his "best friend". In fact, he said it is actually a fairly low-maintenance companion. He says Bailey, who is named after his first pet bison, Bailey, Sr. was even able to come into his old house to watch a little TV and get a drink of water.
The bison generally behave like a dog. But Bailey isn't allowed in his new house, although he still calls him his "best friend", adding, quote, "He's my buffalo". Ahhhh now see me saying Warley is my best friend isn't so weird after all. "He's my dog"!

Hi Friends -
Are we sure these folks aren't the real parents of these young country artists?
Hunter Hayes = Jake Owen + Kelly Clarkson
Cassadee Pope = Keith Urban + Miranda Lambert
(Maybe this is what We Were Us is really all about?)
Taylor Swift = George Strait + Faith Hill
Think about it! Got any other country artists you think might have mated? Let us know!

Hi Friends - Callie here. I promised I would check in with you about Ranger's results for the CMAs. Ranger is my favorite dog from the humane society where I volunteer (check out his profile at www.hsco.org). I slipped a piece of paper into his kennel with all the big nominees written on it and wherever he stepped I counted that person as the winner.
Ranger's final grade: 20% (1 out of 5)
He nailed it with Florida Georgia Line taking home the honors as Duo of the Year. Other than that, I think he's better as a dog than a psychic! But I love him just as much - and, as promised, have a milk bone ready for him the next time I go in to volunteer.
Thanks, Ranger!

Hi Friends - Callie here! CMA Awards tonight and I can't wait! Have you picked your winners ahead of time? I have picked all of mine based on Ranger, my favorite pooch at the Humane Society where I volunteer. (Ranger is still available by the way. Check out his stats at www.hsco.org.) I put the CMA nominees on a big piece of paper and slipped it into his kennel. Wherever he stepped and left a smudge, I counted that person as the winner. (Not exactly scientific, I know!)
To keep me honest, I am listing Ranger's picks for the big winners below:
ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR - Luke Bryan
FEMALE VOCALIST - Kacey Musgraves
MALE VOCALIST - Keith Urban
NEW ARTIST - Lee Brice/Kip Moore (the smudge was too close to tell for sure - so I'm calling it a tie!)
DUE OF THE YEAR - Florida Georgia Line
I will check in tomorrow to let you know how Ranger did. No matter what, there is a milk bone with his name on it!

Rhett adds that he's included "something for everyone" on his album. He says some tracks are more traditional sounding, while others incorporate the pop and rock elements found in modern country music. Thomas explains it was important to him that his album feature a diverse mix, just like his concerts. The singer says his shows feature a lot of variety, and he'll play "random" rock, pop, and hip-hop covers and "still make 'em country." Rhett's "It Goes Like This" is in stores now.
Justin Moore says he knows what he's doing when he takes the stage. But the country star recalls that on his first major tour some people needed convincing.
Moore says back then he just trusted his instincts, which is what his fans like. He adds that with his "Off The Beaten Path" tour, his crowds "want to see more of the same," but "in a bigger place with more toys on the stage." Justin launched his trek over the weekend. His next show is coming up in Huntsville, Alabama on Thursday.
